What eligible groups can expect
- Basic administration training and support is always free.
- Free or low-cost options are considered first; any costs are explained before you decide.
- We can help with organisation-owned email, shared files, permissions and continuity.
Ownership stays with the group
Each organisation's email belongs in its own Google or Microsoft nonprofit tenant. The organisation remains the owner; muirkirk.info does not hold its email account.
Eligibility and provider approval are assessed separately. Neither is guaranteed.
Who this is for
Support can suit eligible charities, clubs, constituted or informal volunteer groups and genuine Muirkirk-benefit projects.
Commercial sites, personal portfolios, party-political work, unsafe work and unlawful activity are outside this offer.
Practical support, not a product pitch
- A free basic subdomain microsite.
- Help establishing an organisation-owned Google Workspace or Microsoft nonprofit tenant.
- Basic administration, cyber and productivity training.
- IT troubleshooting, project advice and funding assistance.
Provider and ownership decisions
The provider decides eligibility and approval is not guaranteed. The organisation owns its tenant, domain data and recovery route.
Ian's role
Ian is a delegated administrator only where the organisation authorises it and it is needed.
